Three quick lessons marketers can take from Valentine’s Day ??

1. Treat your customers like every day is Valentine’s Day

You should be doing something every day to show you love and appreciate your customers.

Don’t wait for some particular day or reason to show how much you care. Once a year does not cut it.

2. Create a tailored, personalised, and unique experience for your customers.

Don’t just copy everyone else or throw something together without any thought.

If you’re the Roses, Chocolate, and Dinner team, the customer is going to feel underwhelmed and go elsewhere.

Make your customers feel special, heard, and individual. Ensure that what you’re doing is right for them.

3. Don’t be for everyone – focus on being the very best for those that you are right for.

This is still a huge issue for many marketing teams. Trying to be too broad to expand your addressable market.

Focus.
Focus.
Focus.

Be hyper targeted on those that you are a perfect fit for and give them the very best experience you can.
